Cheltenham 2018 – Sites to see

StaffBy StaffFebruary 26, 2018No Comments2 Mins Read

With the Cheltenham festival just a few weeks away there is one horse that racing fans cannot stop talking about and that is Samcro. He has always been held in the highest regard by connections but his reputation has continued to build in every start to date. The 6 year old has a perfect record of 6 wins in 6 starts that included a recent facile 5 and a half-length victory in the Grade 1 Deloitte Novice hurdle at Leopardstown.

Samcro seems to have an incredibly high cruising speed and turn of foot which means he seems to have all the attributes required of him heading in the Ballymore which is his likely festival target. His ever growing reputation means he now needs to deliver on the biggest stage as his future surely lies over fences and a tilt at the Gold Cup in the coming years. The latest Paddy Power Cheltenham Gold Cup odds has the Henderson trained Might Bite as the clear favourite going in. Both Might Bite and Samcro are certainly ones to get excited about heading into the 2018 festival. If you’re looking to visit the area this infographic will cover the main sites to see while in Cheltenham.
