You have to give GMC some credit. The Hummer was a such an iconic nameplate, and to resurrect it as an EV, doing a complete 180 from its gas-guzzling predecessor, is quite an accomplishment.
The results are impressive. The new Hummer EV has all of the badass attitude of the original.
The new Hummer also features its much-hyped “crab mode” features which utilizes the rear-wheel-steering function to turn all four wheels of the Hummer in the same direction and move the vehicle in a diagonal direction. Watch this video for a demonstration.
It’s quite a vehicle, and will certainly motivate some drivers to go electric much sooner than they ever imagined.
