If you’re a steak lover in Dallas, Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille is an excellent choice regardless of the occasion. I recently had the pleasure of dining there for a business meal and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
I was immediately struck by impressive two-story design of the restaurant. On the first level you’ll find a beautiful island bar that opens up to an outdoor eating area. You get to the second floor by walking up a staircase that wraps around the 30-foot-high wine tower. This brings you to the main dining areas that feature spectacular views of Klyde Warren Park and Downtown Dallas. It’s the perfect setting for a fine dining experience.
Most importantly, the food lives up to the elegant setting. The menu offers a wide variety of options and the steaks are excellent. I ordered the Filet Mignon, and all of my colleagues were impressed with their steaks. We tried a variety of starters with the Ahi Tuna Tartare Tower standing out as the most memorable offering. I also ordered an Old Fashioned from the bar which was perfectly made. We topped off our meal with an exquisite dessert. The Seasonal Cheesecake was served with an orange flavor that was simply divine.
The service was fantastic for most of the meal. Our waiter suggested an excellent wine that was being offered at a special price. The 2018 Girard Artistry is a delicious red win blend that perfectly matched our steak dinners. Our meal went on for hours, and the wait staff was a little less attentive towards the end, but overall we received excellent service.
The prices reflect the upscale nature of the restaurant, but the quality of the food, the superior service, and the overall dining experience justify the cost.
I wholeheartedly recommend Perry’s for anyone seeking an exceptional steakhouse experience in Dallas. Here you’ll find both great food and an ambiance that suits most occasions. Bring a date or reserve a table for a business dinner. You’ll enjoy the experience.
