I like what we’re seeing these days from Cadillac. The new ATS is a winner and their new Cue technology frankly sets the standard for internal technology systems.
But I keep going back to the Ciel concept car unveiled last year, and I think Cadillac is missing an opportunity by not bring this beautifully designed automobile to market, even in a limited run. Frankly, the luxury automakers should consider collector editions of certain vehicles, and Cadillac and Lincoln in particular could take advantage of this approach to elevate their brands. Cost should be measured with marketing buzz in mind.
The Ciel harks back to Cadillac’s glorious past, but it’s also new and fresh, and would turn heads anywhere in the world. You can’t put a price on that kind of buzz.
